Courtney obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Connecticut and Master’s Degree in the area of Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College in 2010. She has worked in the public school, home health, skilled nursing facility, and pediatric clinic settings working closely with clients ranging in age from birth to adulthood with various disorders including Autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, Rett syndrome, developmental disorders, phonological/articulation disorders, apraxia, feeding/swallowing, voice disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, fluency, second language learners, ADD/ADHD, and sensory processing disorder. Courtney joined the staff of Building Bridges Therapy in 2016. Courtney has continued to improve her clinical skills by attending courses related to feeding/swallowing, social communication, early intervention, apraxia, phonological/articulation disorders, working with bilingual language learners, and PROMPT. Outside of work Courtney enjoys hiking, reading, discovering new music, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and dogs.
