Jorri obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University. She began her career at Building Bridges Therapy in 2010, where her clinical expertise and leadership qualities led to her promotion to Assistant Clinical Director in October 2017, and later to Clinical Director in October 2023. Throughout her career, Jorri has presented at numerous professional conferences and parent seminars on topics such as developmentally appropriate norms, oral motor development and feeding difficulties, sensory-based feeding disorders, and the impact of sensory processing challenges on relationships. She has pursued advanced training in the management and treatment of pediatric feeding disorders, oral motor function, breastfeeding safety in medically complex cases, and language-based strategies for treating echolalia. Jorri brings extensive clinical experience in the treatment of language disorders, pediatric feeding, childhood apraxia of speech, fluency, articulation, oral motor dysfunction, and receptive/expressive language delays. She has also completed over 500 hours of continuing education in the area of lactation, further enhancing her ability to support infants and caregivers through early feeding challenges. Outside of work, Jorri enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and exploring local restaurants with friends.
