Marla Mann, M.Ed., CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist and founded Building Bridges Therapy in 2008. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia and completed her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders at Georgia State University. Marla has spent her entire career in pediatric private practice and specializes in feeding therapy, early intervention, and language disorders due to a variety of diagnoses. She has presented on these topics as a guest lecturer for graduate degree programs and at conferences around the Southeast. She has received three ASHA Awards for Continuing Education, obtained a Certificate of Clinical Enhancement in Pediatric Feeding and Disorders, and is a Certified Autism Specialist from the IBCCES. Marla is a GSHA representative for the State Therapy Tri-Alliance and served on the ASHA panel creating the standards for board certification in Autism. Marla and her husband, David, have two sons and recently added a puppy to their family. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, playing tennis, watching her boys play sports, and being around water at the pool, lake or ocean.
