Paten obtained his Associate’s of Science Degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in his hometown of Tifton, Georgia. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health Sciences as well as his Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from The Medical College of Georgia (now Augusta University.) He has worked in hospital, public school, and outpatient clinical settings over the last 9 years and joined the Building Bridges Therapy staff in 2014. Paten has continued to improve his clinical skills by attending courses related to Handwriting Without Tears, Neuro-Developmental Treatment, Visual Processing, Interactive Metronome, Fundamental and Advanced Kinesiotaping, and Primitive Reflex Integration. Outside of work, Paten enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 daughters, working out, woodworking, and playing tennis.
